Frequently asked

How do I build a trip?+

Two ways:

  1. By hand — search for any city, country, or place and add it as a stop. Add a second stop and a route appears between them.
  2. From your photos — tap Magic Builder (the ✨ button) and pick photos from your trip. AeroAnimate reads where and when each was taken and rebuilds the whole route for you.
How does Magic Builder work — and are my photos uploaded?+

Magic Builder reads the location and date saved inside each photo (EXIF data) directly on your device, groups them into stops, and orders them into a route. Your photos are not uploaded to do this — it all happens locally on your iPhone.

If some photos don't get placed, they were likely taken with location turned off. You can turn it on in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Camera.

How do I export my video?+

Tap Export, choose an aspect ratio — 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels/TikTok/Shorts, or 1:1 for feed posts — and start the render. When it's ready, the finished MP4 arrives through the iOS share sheet, so you can save it to Photos or send it anywhere.

Rendering runs on our server and usually takes about 1–3 minutes depending on the trip length and quality.

Is there a watermark? Do I need an account?+

No watermark, ever — your exported video is clean and full-resolution. And you don't need an account to build a trip, use Magic Builder, preview, or export. An account is optional.

Change a vehicle or the pace of a leg+

Open the trip sheet and tap the leg between two stops to pick a different vehicle — planes arc across the globe, cars and bikes follow real roads, trains ride the rails, and boats trace real sea-lanes. You can also set how long the camera lingers at each stop and tune the speed of each leg.

How do I delete my account and data?+

Email support@aeroanimate.com and we'll delete your account, your email, and any data we hold. Trips are stored on your device, so deleting a trip or the app removes those from your phone. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The globe or route lines won't load+

AeroAnimate needs an internet connection to load map tiles and to export. If the map looks stuck, check your connection and try again. If it keeps happening, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll take a look.
